Folding Wooden Adirondack Chairs, Set of 2
Out of stock
Two matching chairs from the same run, so they look right together on day one and keep matching as they weather side by side. Buying a wooden chair now and a second one next season rarely lines up this well.
The fiddly part is already done
The backrest arrives pre-assembled, which takes the most awkward stage out of building an Adirondack chair. What's left is the frame, around 20 to 30 minutes per chair with the included hardware.
A pair that moves out of the way
Both chairs fold flat, so clearing a deck for a party or a season doesn't mean finding room to store two full-size chairs. Hemlock is lighter than acacia and finished brushed and natural here, so you see the grain rather than a stain. A yearly coat of exterior oil holds the light brown tone if you'd rather it didn't silver.

Caring for a natural hemlock finish
Hemlock with a brushed finish
Hemlock is lighter and more affordable than acacia, finished here with a brushed natural surface rather than paint or stain, so you are seeing the grain itself.
Silver, or hold the light brown
Untreated it silvers within a season or two. A coat of exterior wood oil once a year holds the tone and slows moisture getting into the grain, which matters more on a softer wood.
Store both folded
Fold both chairs and store them under cover between seasons, keep the pivot points clear of grit, and check the hardware each spring.
Wooden Adirondack Chair Set FAQs
How much assembly is left if the backrest arrives pre-assembled?
How much assembly is left if the backrest arrives pre-assembled?
Only the remaining frame pieces, which runs 20 to 30 minutes per chair. The backrest is the fiddly part and the factory has already done it, which is the main reason to choose this set over a flat-packed pair.
Is a set of two better value than buying single chairs?
Is a set of two better value than buying single chairs?
For most patios, yes. Two matching chairs are what people actually end up wanting, and buying them together means the grain and tone match, which is not guaranteed if you order singles months apart.
Will the natural finish stay this color?
Will the natural finish stay this color?
Not unless you oil it. Untreated hemlock silvers gradually in sun and rain. A yearly coat of exterior wood oil holds the original light brown, and either way the chairs stay sound.
How compact do they fold for storage?
How compact do they fold for storage?
Flat enough to stand side by side against a garage wall or slide behind a shed door. Folding both takes a few seconds each.
Where do these work best?

Anywhere you want two seats without committing a permanent footprint: a deck, a fire pit, poolside, or a small garden where furniture needs to move out of the way sometimes.
