Dark Gray Acacia Wood Adirondack Dining Chairs, Set of 2
Available in stock
Finally, Adirondack comfort that works at a dining table. These are the same laid-back shape and the same acacia as a classic Adirondack, built at the height a table actually needs, so you sit level with your plate instead of down around chest height.
Dining height, not lounge height
The seat sits at 17.25 inches instead of the 13 to 15 you get on a lounge Adirondack, which puts your elbows level with the table rather than below it. The armrests come in at 26 inches, so it's worth measuring the clearance under your table before ordering. Arm height, not seat height, is usually what stops a chair sliding all the way in.
Slats around food and drink
The slatted seat and back drain and dry quickly, which matters more on chairs that live around spilled drinks than it does on lounge seating. They come as a pair in a dark gray stain over acacia, so both chairs start out matching, and a coat of stain each spring keeps them that way.

Dark gray acacia at the table
Acacia in a dark gray stain
The dark gray stain is what lets these sit alongside a dining table without the orange-toned wood look that clashes with most outdoor tabletops.
Do both chairs together
The stain lightens gradually in sun and rain. Coat both in spring at the same time, since two chairs at slightly different tones is more noticeable than one chair that has aged.
They live near food
Slatted seats drain and dry quickly, which is what you want on chairs used at a table. Wipe spills promptly, wash a few times a season, and cover or store them through a hard winter.
