Foldable Backless Counter Stool, HDPE Seat
Available in stock
You've got two extra people over and nowhere to seat them at the kitchen island, and this is the stool you pull from the closet and unfold in about five seconds.
Folds down to lean in a closet
It collapses to about two and a half inches thick and comes with a built-in carry handle, so it stores flat behind a door or in the trunk and travels to the deck, the campsite, or a friend's place. There's no assembly, so it arrives ready to open and sit on.
Sized for counters and islands, not bar tables
The seat sits at 27.5 inches, which is counter height, so it pairs with kitchen islands and counters in the 35 to 39 inch range rather than a taller pub table. The HDPE seat has a concave cutaway at the back that lets it sit nearly flush against a wall, and the powder-coated metal frame wipes clean and needs no upkeep.
It's the most portable option in our outdoor bar stools collection, and a handy backup seat to keep on hand for when the island fills up.

Foldable Counter Stool FAQs
Is this a bar stool or a counter stool?
Is this a bar stool or a counter stool?
It's counter height. The seat sits at 27.5 inches, which suits kitchen islands and counters between 35 and 39 inches tall. For a standard 40 to 43 inch bar table you'd want a taller stool, so check your surface height before ordering.
How stable is a folding stool at 330 lbs?
How stable is a folding stool at 330 lbs?
The X-shaped legs lock open into a wide, planted stance, and non-slip pads keep it from sliding on tile or wood. Rated to 330 lbs, it's sturdier than most folding seats. It's designed for sitting, not standing on.
Does the backless stool tuck away when I'm not using it?
Does the backless stool tuck away when I'm not using it?
Yes. It folds to about 2.5 inches thick, and the concave seat cutaway lets it sit nearly flush to a wall or slide behind a door. The carry handle makes it easy to grab and stow.
Do I need to assemble this counter stool?
Do I need to assemble this counter stool?
No. It ships fully built and ready to unfold and sit on. There's no hardware, and the HDPE seat and powder-coated frame need nothing more than a wipe-down to stay clean.
Can I leave the HDPE stool outside on the patio?
Can I leave the HDPE stool outside on the patio?
HDPE and powder-coated metal both handle sun and rain without special care, so a stool left out won't warp or rust the way wood or bare metal might. For the longest life, fold it up and store it inside during long stretches of harsh weather.
