Acacia Wood Bar Stool with Armrests, Slatted, 31 Inch
Available in stock
Settle onto a tall stool at the outdoor bar with your elbows on the armrests and your feet on the rail, and you understand why people linger out here after dinner.
A backrest and armrests, not just a perch
Most bar stools ask you to balance on a small seat. This one is closer to a tall Adirondack chair, with a high slatted back to lean into, wide armrests, and a built-in footrest so your legs aren't dangling. It's the seat you can settle into through a long conversation.
Slatted natural acacia that sheds water
The slatted back and seat let rain run through instead of pooling, so you're not wiping down a puddle before you sit. The wood is solid acacia in its natural finish, and left outdoors it will silver toward gray over time, so brush on a coat of exterior oil once a year if you'd rather keep the warm honey tone.
It holds a genuine 400 lbs and reads as a real chair among our outdoor bar stools. It also comes in a painted turquoise, and it pairs with the rest of our acacia patio furniture.

Care and upkeep
Oil the acacia yearly
A yearly coat of exterior oil keeps the honey tone, or let it silver to gray naturally.
Slats drain themselves
The spaced slats let rain run through, so there's no standing water to wipe off.
Acacia Bar Stool FAQs
What height table does the 31-inch acacia bar stool fit?
What height table does the 31-inch acacia bar stool fit?
The 31-inch seat is true bar height, so it pairs with bar tables and counters in the 40 to 43 inch range. On a shorter counter-height surface around 36 inches, it will sit too tall. Measure your table before ordering.
Are the armrests and footrest comfortable for longer sitting?
Are the armrests and footrest comfortable for longer sitting?
They're the reason to choose this one. The wide armrests give your elbows somewhere to rest, and the built-in footrest keeps your legs from hanging, so it feels more like a tall chair than a stool. Good for lingering after a meal.
Does the slatted seat get uncomfortable without a cushion?
Does the slatted seat get uncomfortable without a cushion?
The slats are spaced and contoured for sitting, and the natural acacia is smooth, so most people find it comfortable as is. The gaps also keep you from sitting in a hot or wet seat. If you want extra padding, a standard seat cushion drops right on.
How much weight does the acacia bar stool hold?
How much weight does the acacia bar stool hold?
It's rated to 400 lbs, which is well above most bar stools, and the solid acacia frame with adjustable foot pads keeps it planted. That headroom means it feels solid rather than tippy for a wide range of people.
Will the natural acacia stay this color outdoors?
Will the natural acacia stay this color outdoors?
Left untreated, acacia weathers to a soft silver-gray, which suits a lot of patios. To hold the honey-natural tone you see now, wipe it down and apply a coat of exterior wood oil once a year.
