Slatted Wood Patio Coffee Table
Available in stock
A simple slatted-top table is the workhorse every patio wants: coffee table today, drinks station at the next cookout, plant stand after that. This solid-wood rectangle handles all of it and looks good doing it.
Solid pine and fir, built to take a load
The frame is solid pine and fir with 2.3-inch legs and an extra crossbar, rated to hold up to 275 pounds, so you can perch on the edge or stack it high without a second thought. The slatted top lets rain drain through and air move under whatever you set down. Outdoors the stained finish mellows over time, and a light re-coat every year or two brings the color back.
A shape that works anywhere
At 35.5 by 21.5 inches it's long enough to serve a sofa yet narrow enough to slip behind without turning sideways. The clean lines sit happily next to wicker, wood, or metal seating instead of competing with it.
Build the rest of the setting around it. Browse the full Outdoor Tables range, or pair it with Outdoor Sectionals and Adirondack Chairs.

Caring for your slatted wood table
Solid softwood
Pine and fir with real heft, built to take weight and weather.
Re-coat now and then
The stained color softens with sun. A light re-coat every year or two restores it.
Drains and wipes clean
Rain runs through the slats. A damp cloth clears dust and pollen.
Slatted Wood Table FAQs
How much weight can this wood table hold?
How much weight can this wood table hold?
It's rated to 275 pounds thanks to the 2.3 inch legs and reinforcing crossbar, so it takes a person sitting on the edge or a heavy load of plants without flexing.
Why a slatted top instead of a solid one?
Why a slatted top instead of a solid one?
The gaps let rain drain and air circulate, so the surface dries fast and nothing you set down ends up sitting in a puddle after a storm.
What wood is used, and will it last outside?
What wood is used, and will it last outside?
Solid pine and fir. Keep it off standing water and give it an occasional re-coat and it holds up through the seasons; the stained color naturally softens with sun over time.
Is it heavy to move?
Is it heavy to move?
At 22 pounds it has enough heft to stay put in a breeze but is still an easy one-person lift when you want to rearrange.
Does it need assembly?
Does it need assembly?
The legs and crossbar attach with the included hardware, about twenty minutes. The slatted top is preassembled.
